Five Questions

What Brings you the greatest Joy?
My Family. Becoming a mother was nothing short of incredible. It has been the greatest gift to watch my daughter Avery grow and learn.

What do you love about Oakville?
I was born, raised and still live in Oakville. Oakville is in my blood! I love all the different communities that make up the town- each neighbourhood has its own personality with its own neat shops and restaurants.

Mountains or Beach?
Absolutely Mountains. My husband and I are ski fanatics, there is nothing better than fresh tracks and apres ski. We love being outdoors embracing nature.

What inspires you?
Coaching and being a part of the Oakville Lady Hawks Lacrosse Program. I have been a part of the Lady Hawks organization since the inaugural season. Growing up my passion was sports, more specifically Lacrosse. I am extremely competitive. I now get that same excitement from coaching and giving back to the next generation of athletes.

What is the best advise you have ever been given?
As a child growing up, I had to work hard for everything. I was never the kid that got "easy A's". My grades came from a great deal of studying and working hard. Although I loved sports, I was never the best on the team, which meant I had to work very hard there too. My parents always told me, "Be humble. Be hungry. And always be the hardest worker in the room." This quote pushed me to work my hardest and is one that I still carry with me today.
